How long does it take to apply?
It varies depending on the type of tile you have but a typical 25m2 will take between 2-4 hours total
Once applied, how long until I can walk on / use the treated area?
Once completed you can walk on it immediately. There is no dry time. SlipStop isn’t a coating.
Does it wear off in heavy traffic?
SlipStop doesn’t wear off in heavy traffic and works very well in both commercial and residential applications. If the treated area gets a lot foot traffic, just clean more frequently and it will keep the surface slip resistant.
Will it change the look of my floor?
The change is often very minimal and hard to notice. However, like everything, it does depend on the quality of the floor you want treated. When the applicator visits your home, we recommend doing the application on a small tile to show you what the finish will look like to give you peace of mind before our applicators commence the work.
Can I apply this myself?
No, only certified and approved Applicators can apply SlipStop.
Is cleaning my floor easy after SlipStop has been applied?
Yes, you just need to follow our simple maintenance and cleaning guidelines. We recommend our Green Cleaner for easy maintenance.
